Account Supervisor
Description
- Maintain strong and solid client relationships, serving as a key day-to-day contact and elevating any issues to senior management as needed.
- Competently engage with clients to explain scopes of work, estimates, and change orders when necessary.
- Demonstrate and apply extensive knowledge of client strategy, organizations, products, disease states, and medical communications while proactively thinking about client strategy and lifecycle management.
- Proactively identify opportunities for strategic growth within accounts by understanding client business objectives and strategic imperatives, while also identifying new project ideas and white space opportunities.
- Contribute to strategic direction by developing a deep understanding of the client's business, therapeutic area, digital ecosystem, and promotional formats—across both educational and commercial initiatives.
- Independently lead and facilitate client meetings, anticipate client questions or objections, proactively manage and solve issues or conflicts of greater complexity.
- Manage complex projects independently and proactively solve for timeline, estimate, or quality issues.
- Assist with facilitating workshops and brainstorming meetings with senior account team members.
- Independently own the development of projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Manage project budgets and provide accurate financial tracking; raise awareness of projects at risk for going over budget to team and client.
- Independently develop scope of work (SOWs), manage project estimate maintenance needs (ie, out of scopes, etc.), along with timely reconciliations.
- Build and maintain project timelines with the coordination and input of internal team members.
- Effectively communicate strategy and tactical plans to all internal teams, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative environment.
- Oversee staff resourcing to ensure adequate coverage across all active project work, collaborating with Operations to find necessary coverage when internal resources are limited.
- Develop strategic and actionable project briefs and project palettes.
- Enforce agency processes within the team to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Ensure status reports are maintained for all projects.
